Hosted the RISA Fund Ghana Country Close-Out Event, bringing together development partners, government institutions, academia, investors and private-sector actors to reflect on the programme’s contribution to Ghana’s research and innovation ecosystem and the partnerships needed to sustain its impact.
The RISA Fund Ghana Close-Out Event brought together government institutions, development partners, academia and private-sector stakeholders to reflect on the programme’s contribution to Ghana’s research and innovation ecosystem. Supported by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), Research and Innovation Systems for Africa (RISA) focused on strengthening the systems and partnerships needed to translate research and innovation into practical solutions and economic opportunities.
The event featured discussions on building effective science and technology partnerships, advancing research commercialisation, and sustaining progress beyond the programme. As MC, I guided the proceedings and tied these conversations to a shared priority: building a stronger, more collaborative, and sustainable innovation ecosystem for Ghana.
